The MorTrack mobile app uses location data from your device to provide your location to Dispatch users on your team, as well as display your current location in relation to pick-up or delivery addresses for cases you are working on.
In order to share Location data with MorTrack, you will need the following:
- The MorTrack app must have Location permission. You will be prompted to grant permission when you first log into the app, and afterward, this can be found in the app settings of your device.
- For best results, please choose the option similar to “Yes, always allow” or “Allow all the time”.
- MorTrack only retrieves your location data while you are logged into the app.
- If you log out, we will not receive this data, even if “Allow all the time” is chosen.
- You must have a vehicle checked out for you to appear on the map for Dispatch users.
How often is Location data reported?
MorTrack collects data while you are logged in and sharing Location information. It will report on your current location every 150 meters of movement. If you have not moved 150 meters, MorTrack will update your location every 10 minutes (e.g. you are on-site at a residence and have not moved over 150 meters since arriving).
