Users with Report access can create custom reports and save them to access again in the future. These reports can be customized by selecting which data points appear on the report when it is run.
The Reports functions are available on the browser app version of MorTrack.
To create a custom report, please follow these steps:
- In MorTrack, click on Reports.
- From the MorTrack Reporting page, click on Add Custom Report.
- A pop-up listing all data options available will appear. Clicking on any of these will enable them, meaning they will appear as a column header on the custom report. Enable as many columns as needed.
- In the Custom Report Name field, enter a name for your report.
- Click on Save to save the report.
To edit, rename, or delete an existing custom report:
- In MorTrack, click on Reports.
- From the MorTrack Reporting page, click on the Reports drop-down menu.
- Mouse over the custom report to view options for managing the report:
- Rename Report will be for changing the name of the report.
- Edit Report will allow you to change which columns and data points are displayed or hidden on the report. You can also rename the report here.
- Delete Report will delete the report. This is not reversible, but reports can always be recreated by making a new report and selecting the same options again.
For running an existing Report:
- In MorTrack, click on Reports.
- From the MorTrack Reporting page, click on the Reports drop-down menu.
- Select a report or custom report.
- Depending on the report chosen, some new options may appear, such as selectors for limiting the report’s results by date, entities, and status.
- After making your report selections, click on Run Report to execute the report.
After running a report, some new options will appear:
- Options brings up a list of the columns on the report. You can click on these to hide columns, and clicking on them again will display them once more.
- Reset resets any changes made in Options, reverting the report to its default state.
- Export will export the current report's data as a CSV file, which can then be opened in a program like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
