During the decedent removal process, Removal Techs can use the MorTrack mobile app to attach photos to cases. These can be photos of personal effects, relevant paperwork/documents, or anything else pertaining to the case.
You can add photos during most steps of the removal process. If the Case Info button is located at the bottom of the screen, tap on it, then scroll to the bottom of the Case Info and tap on Add / View Photos.
The Image Gallery will show any photos already attached to the case. To begin attaching a new photo, tap on Upload New Photo.
When uploading a photo, you will need the following:
Photo Name: The filename for the photo. This name should be generally descriptive and indicative of the content in the image.
Section: This will automatically populate with the step of the app you are currently on, but you can tap on it and change it to one of the following:
- Verify ID
- Misc. PE
- Releasing Photos
- Case Info Details
Image: The buttons for attaching images. They are
- Add from Gallery: Opens you device’s image gallery to attach a saved image file.
- Take a Photo: Opens your device’s camera to take a new photo and attach.
Note: Optional, miscellaneous notes related to the photos.
Once you have entered the above information, tap on Save to save and attach the photo.
